Job Description
Hi! My job is to be there for you. It means being a bridge from the KUSZ European teachers to the European Sangha
members - back and forth. I head the team working in the European office which is based in the Berlin Zen
Centre. I work with the members of the KUSZE office on projects such as the European wide publicity of our
school, start up packages for new groups, tour organization for our wonderful Head Teachers around Europe,
financial requirements for a sound European Sangha, research and brainstorming for more effective communication between
all of us. I also connect with the global Kwan Um Zen Sangha in order to facilitate information flow from
the KUSZ Sanghas in Europe to the USA and to Asia and to coordinate shared global projects such as the WWSF 2011
conference. I am available to any questions or ideas on the European level.

Job Description
My job is to help the abbess to plan our income and expenses so that we don't spend more than we have. Each time we
receive or spend some money I update our accounting books. This allows tax controllers to do their job. The abbess
and other people from the Sangha also use it to keep an eye on our spending. Every quarter I prepare a report for
the Sangha which shows how much money we collected and how much we spent. We compare that with the plans we had.
When needed, I help to adjust our budget for the next quarters.

Job Description
The KUSZE webmaster looks after the website at
www.kwanumeurope.org,
making sure that information on our teachers, centers, groups and coming retreats is up-to-date and accurate.
The
news items about YMJJs and short kidos —
any short retreat led by one teacher — can now be posted by Zen groups (after booking the teacher for the
retreat) through the online
Retreat News System,
but I make sure information about other retreats, Sangha Weekends,
kidos and Kyol Ches, is all published too. I'm responsible for the database system behind the website, the
retreat news system, Latest News, and the websites we host for the
Barcelona,
Vienna and
London Zen Centers.
If you need help with using any of these, or to
contribute translations
of dharma talks and articles, first contact me and I will always try to respond quickly.
