Zen Master Bon Shim

Bon Shim Soen Sa Nim (Zen Master Aleksandra Porter) received inka in 1992 and transmission in 2006.  She is the Guiding Teacher of the Kwan Um School of Zen in Poland, Czech Republic and Spain, and regularly leads Kyol Ches in Poland as well as teaching extensively through- out Eastern and Western Europe.  She has been a student of Zen Master Seung Sahn since 1978, his first visit to Poland, and lives with her two sons at the Warsaw Zen Center.  She is also an active member of the Polish Union of Buddhists.  She received trans- mission from Zen Master Wu Bong on 24 September 2006 in a ceremony at the Warsaw Zen Center.
