Zen Master Bon Yo

Zen Master Bon Yo is the Guiding Teacher for the Paris Zen Center and the centers in Slovakia, London and Brussels and is the Vice Head Teacher of the European School.  She started practicing in 1984 in the Gdansk Zen Center, Poland. In 1988 she started her intensive practice at the Providence Zen Center under Zen Master Seung Sahn and other Masters of the Korean tradition and in 1994  received authorization to teach (inka) from Zen Master Seung Sahn.  In 1995 she and her husband, Zen Master Wu Bong, moved to France and founded the Paris Zen Center.

She received transmission from Zen Master Dae Kwang in Paris on 9th April 2005, the 80th generation in her line of transmission.  She teaches throughout Europe and follows her artistic career as a painter and illustrator.
