DESCRIPTION:Intensive Week\, led by Barbara Pardo JDPSN (7 days with midnight practice\, second entry December 5). \nDecember 1 to 7 (arrival Saturday November 30 evening).\nSecond entry Thursday 5 December evening. \nBecause of the rigorousness of this retreat\, it is not suitable for complete beginners to zen practice. It is limited to those who have previously sat at least one retreat with us. \nIn this traditional retreat there is an extra practice period at midnight (between midnight and 2 o’clock there is a special energy and the effect of the practice is very powerful). \nThe retreat is silent\, in our Mountain Zen Center located in the middle of nature\, in the Alta Garrotxa Natural Park. The participants follow an intensive program of sitting and walking mediation\, chanting\, bowing and formal meals\, trying to keep alive the practice of attention at all times. \nWith kong-an interviews and Dharma Talk. \nBarbara Pardo JDPSN\, resident teacher of Borisa\, began practicing at the Kwan Um School of Zen in 1994. She received inka from Zen Master Bon Shim in 2019.
