DESCRIPTION:Dear European Sangha\, \nWe’re happy to invite all members of European Zen Centers and Groups to our postponed European Sangha Weekend with Transmission Ceremony for Jo-Alma Potter JDPSN and Annual Meeting of Members\, which will take place on 26th of September 2020 on Zoom platform\, where you will be able to participate virtually in events in Vienna\, Austria. \nSchedule: \n10:00-12.00 CEST Transmission for Jo-Alma Potter\n14:00-16.00 CEST Meeting of Members of Kwan Um School of Zen \nLEARN MORE on Transmission \nREGISTER FOR SANGHA WEEKEND ON ZOOM HERE \n\nSee the MoM agenda and Reports —-> LATEST UPDATE 05.09.2020 \n \nWe invite all Zen Centers and Groups to vote during the Meeting of Members (MoM) by choosing their representatives.  Let your abbess/abbot/group director know if you want to add more topics to the Agenda and they will let us know. \n\nBefore 25th of August: Abbesses/abbots/group directors can add subjects to the agenda by sending them to European Office (director@kwanumeurope.org)\n\nBefore 20th of September: Please organize your local Sangha meetings and choose a representative to vote and speak up for your Sangha during the MoM at your local Sangha meetings. Register your representative using this SW registration form providing:\n\n(1) name of the representative and which local Sangha do you represent\n(2) how many members you currently have \nIf we don’t hear from you by 20th of September 2020\, your guiding teacher will be eligible to represent you or appoint your proxy. \n Teachers (SSN\, JDPSN) can serve as representatives in case no student is attending. The teachers can choose a representative but this representative can represent one teacher only. According to our bylaws\, you can choose your representative in any way you wish (discussion\, vote\, etc.)\, but the representative has to be approved by your guiding teacher. You are entitled to choose your guiding teacher or a person from another Zen Center or Group\, in case no one from your Sangha will attend the event.
