DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you for the 12th week of our Summer Retreat Program 2019 at Bori Sa\, Barcelona\, Spain\, led by Zen Master Bon Shim SSN. \n \nBori Sa is a mountain Zen Center located in the middle of nature\, in the incredible Natural Park of the Alta Garrotxa in the Pyrenees\, the ideal place for a retreat. All our meals are vegetarian\, based on fresh\, local\, seasonal\, organic produce (often from our own garden). \n  \nThe retreat will run from 24 August (arrival on the 23rd at 08:00 p.m.) to 30 August 2019. DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you for the 12th week of our Summer Retreat Program 2019 at Bori Sa\, Barcelona\, Spain\, led by Zen Master Bon Shim SSN. \n \nBori Sa is a mountain Zen Center located in the middle of nature\, in the incredible Natural Park of the Alta Garrotxa in the Pyrenees\, the ideal place for a retreat. All our meals are vegetarian\, based on fresh\, local\, seasonal\, organic produce (often from our own garden). \n  \nThe retreat will run from 24 August (arrival on the 23rd at 08:00 p.m.) to 30 August 2019. Join us for together action practice\, meditation\, bowing\, chanting\, Kong-an interviews and walking in the wilderness. \n  \n31 August – 01 September – Sangha Weekend & Meeting of Members – a separate application will soon be available \n  \nRetreat price: 280€ / 230€ (KUSZ member) / 200€ (Bori Zen Center active member) \n  \nDownload practical information\, please read it carefully as it forms the basis of your participation in the retreat: \n-Practical information (what to bring\, program\, retreat rules) \n-Transport \nTo consider: \nPlease\, register as soon as possible to facilitate the organization of transport and stay in Bori Sa.\nThe journey by car from the airport to Bori Sa (and vice versa) can take more than 3 hours. Please\, at the time of booking the flight\, try that the arrival to the airport is early (before 11: 00h) and that the return trip departs as late as possible (from 19:00 h.) \nUpon return\, if necessary\, there is the option of staying overnight at the Bori Zen Center Barcelona until the next day (limited places\, please contact by email with the center at boricentrozen@hotmail.com). \nAn attempt will be made to organize transportation in such a way that people arriving from outside will get to Bori Sa in the cars of the local Sangha. \nIf you come in groups of 4 or more people and there are not enough seats\, it would be convenient to rent a car at the airport. \nIf there is no seat available in any car\, part of the route must be done by bus. DESCRIPTION:[Click to read the first European Sangha Convention Report]\nDear Sangha\, \nWe’re happy to invite you to our Annual Meeting of Members and European Sangha Weekend\, which will take place on 8-9th September 2018 in Warsaw\, Poland. \nAPPLY FOR SANGHA WEEKEND \nPreliminary Plan: \n\n8th of September\, Saturday\n\nMeeting of Members (KUSZE MoM) ~1\,5h administrative part\nDharma Puzzle / Community building game (1h) – teams work together in order to find how various Buddhas\, Bodhisattvas and Dharma Protectors can fit together\nSangha Convention ~3h\, creative/vision part\nEntertainment Program – Music LIVE\n\n\n9th of September\, Sunday\n\nPrecepts Ceremony – APPLY ADDITIONALLY\n\n\n\n\nSee the UPDATED with Council and EO reports – MoM agenda .  \nNote that all legal matters will be closed during our short MoM\, whereas the creative and exciting part of sharing the vision for Kwan Um School will take place during Sangha Convention.\n \nWe invite all Zen Centers to prepare and join the Meeting of Members (MoM) by choosing their representatives. Note that your student MoM representative can also be your delegate to the Sangha Convention. Let your abbess/abbot/group director know if you want to add more subjects or submit them to our Sangha Convention to discuss. \n\nBefore the 1st of August 2018: Abbesses/abbots/group directors can add subjects to the agenda by sending them to European Office (comms@kwanumeurope.org)\nOn the 2nd of August 2018: The agenda will be updated online for the Sangha to discuss and prepare for the meeting of members during your local Sangha meetings UPDATED!\n\nBefore the 31st of August 2018: Please choose a representative to vote and speak up for your Sangha during the meeting of members at your local Sangha meetings and register through THIS APPLICATION FOR SANGHA WEEKEND:\n\n\n(1) which local Sangha do you represent\n \n(2) how many members you currently have. \n  \n Teachers (JDPSN\, SSN) can serve as representatives in case no student is attending. The teachers can choose a representative but this representative can represent one teacher only. According to our bylaws\, you can choose your representative in any way you wish (discussion\, vote\, etc.)\, but the representative has to be approved by your guiding teacher. You are entitled to choose your guiding teacher or a person from another Zen Center or Group\, in case no one from your Sangha will attend the event.
