The KUSZEu Board of Directors (BoD) was established to serve as “the operational and executive board of KUSZEu” (KUSZEu bylaws, 2023). One BoD priority is to solicit donations on behalf of KUSZEu. We have been steadily working on this responsibility since 2023.* The BoD currently pursues the following priorities for giving:
As KUSZEu continues to enhance its donation or giving campaigns, we wish to learn more about your center’s needs and priorities. This survey will help us understand the needs of member centers and groups and to direct KUSZEu’s fund-raising priorities. We invite you to use this survey to share ideas and inspirations about how to strengthen and grow your local sangha. Sharing your thoughts and ambitions will help KUSZEu help you.
In addition, the responses to this survey will help us to identify up to three projects that KUSZEu will promote during our 2026 Dāna Fund campaign, to be launched later this year.
As we review your responses, we may contact you for additional information. While we will select a maximum of three projects to promote in the short term, we will catalogue all responses for future reference and support. We also welcome your ideas on how KUSZEu could increase giving regionally in coordination with member center giving campaigns.

* In 2023, KUSZEu launched its first giving campaign, inviting donations for Vrážné Zen Center. The 2023 campaign raised about 3 500 € for renovating the kitchen at Vrážné Zen Center, and the 2024 campaign raised about 3 200 € for Bori Zen Center to purchase new mattresses. The 2025–26 campaign has so far raised only about 300 €. It is not clear why it raised substantially less than the previous two campaigns; one possibility is that it did not attract one or two substantial donations (>1 000 €) as was the case in 2023 and 2024.
