Makman Dunes – is a secluded, privately owned ecological vacation village, spread over 6 acres on the edge of the sand dunes. The village is located on the outskirts of the Mash’abim Sands Nature Reserve, adjacent to the Ottoman road to Nitzana, about 20 minutes south of Be’er Sheva.
Among the dunes are scattered 5 mud-built guest cabins, constructed by hand using sustainable architectural principles.
The name Mekoman is derived from the Arabic word “Kiman”, meaning “place.”
Weather
Practice will take place in a large, open Bedouin tent.
November is a very pleasant month in the desert — an ideal time to stay outdoors during the day and enjoy the open spaces and silence of the desert.
